Kyle Thompson's art photography consists of surreal photography which comes from him having his art work planned out. He also mostly does self-portraits and his subjects ae either himself or other people. From his picture to the left we can see how he strategizes his work in having the right composition from his head being in the middle of the frame; following the rules of thirds the space around him is even. In my picture to the right it shows my subject being my dog, however the composition is just as good. Both pictures have similar details such as the leaves and the warm colors give the same feeling for both pictures.

In Benjamin Von Wong's picture to the left it shows a strategized concept in showing a person on lava and through his picture he wants to explain the concept of climate change. Von Wong claimed, "The concept was that the indigenous people have been talking about this climate change problem for the longest time and everyone’s just ignoring them." Through his pictures we can captivate the emotions of the picture and how important it is to him. In my picture to the right it shows the sunset right to the left of the person in the picture. Just like Von Wong's picture, they both have color contrast to the rest of the photo; whereas in Wong's photo it's the red from the lava, in my picture it's the yellow from the sun.
George Steinmetz's photography style consists of documentary, drone, and landscape. Through his style of having a high perspective of his pictures he usually does monitored paragliding where he will jump off a plane and he sits in a harness suspended by a large and curved wing that helps him glide through the air and capture his pictures. Aside from this he will also use drones in taking these high perspective pictures as well. The picture to the right shows George's picture and it has the good composition in showing natures and highlighting the forest.
In the picture to the left I took a picture of the backyard of a high house. In comparison to George's, it is not a extremely high perspective, but it's one of an everyday capable photography and does have some height to it. My picture shows landscape and nature as well as George's does. Jimmy Chin's photography style consists of adventure photography where he will mainly go on mountain hikes and capture the landscape from the high angle he is in and as he is reaching near the top he takes photos of journey on how he got there. The picture to the left is one he took where there is a hiker and in the background there is the mountains around, his composition and lighting of the picture captures the movement of hiking really well. To the right is one of different perspective compared to Jimmy. Whereas Jimmy is in a high ground my picture is from the middle ground where I can still see the high mountain ranges in the background. I think the lighting is really well and suits the feeling of nature surrounding the hiking trail.
Alfred's picture shows both fine art and documentary in the sense that as we see the picture we get the feel the history behind the picture. In his picture he is actually showing people on a steerage immigrating from Europe to America. My picture is showing two crew members from the BVTV Livestream having to take the cart from Bonita Vista High School all the way to Southwestern College to showcase our homecoming game and show to anyone. I resemble it to Alfred's picture to some sense because it documents the behind the scene as to how the whole livestream is put together. Both pictures have great composition in showing the boat and ramp while my shows the people and the cart through the sidewalk with the street in view to show where they had to go through.
The two works above are winners from the ATPI Fall 2021 contest. The picture from the left, Littlefield House by Isabella Boulware shows the three components of photography, the lighting is from the left side of where the picture is being taken. The composition of the picture first has the forefront of the tree which gives the viewer a feel of being in between the trees as they see the picture; the background shows the house which is one of the main focuses as well. The placement of the camera makes the focus towards the tree, but also on the house since it is something bigger. In the right, Ferns by Stella Foster shows the same with her picture for all three components of photography. The thing about both pictures is that they have the same feeling from both. It feels as though there is a cottage style to it when both pictures are placed together.
