The animation from Ethan shows great quality in having his art represent a storyline, however it missed having a big climax with a beginning, middle, and end. Same as Ethan, my animation does not have a story to tell through the video, the effort in making the video is visible in making sure there were enough frames to make the animation work and to play in a smooth way. Ethan uses digital art which makes his composition better as well as having to work with his own background and being able to show a good animation. My background and composition is not good and can improve in not having the shadows.

Alex Stemplewski is a photographer and a "how to" social media creator who creates fine art thorough his portrait photography. Alex's style mainly consists of portraits in which the focal point is on the faces of the pictures and the background is blurred to make sure the focus is on the subject of the picture. Such as Alex, the picture on the left shows portrait photography, the same as how the picture to the right which is Alex's shows. The difference between my picture to the left of Stemplewski's picture is that the focus is mainly on the hand however it still takes it to the person in the background because of the focus.
Robert Frank was a Swiss photographer who's style consisted of Documentary Photography, Photojournalism, and Social Commentary. Both pictures show documentary of people in their everyday life. The focal point of Frank's picture to the left shows people around the busy streets, which can also be seen in the picture to the right. Franks picture has a balance of max black and max white, the black can be seen in the darker signs of the stores whereas the white is seen on the background with the sky and the clothes some people are wearing.
Steve McCurry's style of photography is mainly documentary. His most famous work is of an Afghan Girl who is looking directly at the camera with her piercing green eyes that has appeared on the cover of National Geographic many times. Following the rule of thirds, McCurry's composition of the picture has the girl being the focal point of the picture and having her dominant eye being in the middle of the picture. Similarly, my picture to the left has my friend in the left side of the thirds. The focal point of the picture is towards her since she is in the foreground, if I had edited the picture for the background to be blurred it would have added more focus to the subject. Both pictures show the subject having an angle of their bodies facing the left and turning their heads slightly to the right into the camera position.
Steve McCurry's way of art style when it comes to photography comes down to using many rules that help his pictures. Through the rule of lines in general when it comes to photography, McCurry is able to have his pictures express art well, such as the picture on the right where there are diagonal lines. This then creates movement in which as the viewers we can see how the action is taking place and the kid is running. In comparison to my picture on the left, the diagonal part of the firepit shows the corner in which the appliance ends showing how the movement in the photos is of my dog walking around it.
The previously awarded SDMA artworks have similarities in the message they have through their work. The juxtaposition for their work is showcasing water life with pollution to the sea which endangers the species in the ocean. To be awarded like these artworks there needs to be the idea of a juxtaposition, but also different art values. In the picture to the left there is a focal point of the turtle as we look at the bottom we can also see a plastic bag in the forefront which allows us to understand the art piece better. The art piece to the right is much more artistic in the way that the focal point and forefront we see a woman, however in the background there is a school a fish swimming away from the net in the background of the woman.
To the left in Beth Moon's tree starlight picture that has the forefront of the tree which is the focal point of the picture. In the background of the picture it shows the sky with the stars all around showing the night. In the bottom of the picture behind the focal point we can see the other trees surrounding the tree in the middle which helps the picture. In comparison to my picture, I show a wider variety of the sky without having my focal point at the center, but rather of the left side of the picture. Like Moon's picture the sky adds to the picture in the beautiful colors around it, with the sunset varying in orange, blue, and purple colors.
